Import/Export Language
The main Import/Export screen looks like the image below.
Importing and exporting a language file is a useful way to distribute a set of language files. When you export a language all the files are packed into a single tar archive. Importing a language unpacks these files and puts them in the correct directory structure.
All the words used in WebCards are split into multiple files to save server load and time when loading the language. You need to choose which file you wish to edit. Words that are used in similar areas are grouped in the same file.
Import Language
The archive you wish to import must be in the "export" directory. The file must be named lang-LANGNAME.tar. An archive called lang-French.tar will be imported as "French". An archive called lang-lang_DUTCH.tar will be imported as "lang_DUTCH". Make sure you name your files appropriately.
Click "Import" to unpack the archive.
Export Language
When you export a set of language files the archive will be saved in the "export" directory. It will be saved in the format lang-LANGNAME.tar.
Click "Export" to save the archive.
